to the 25th international STREETART festival

From May 22nd to 25th, 2026, the 25th International Streetart Festival will take place on the Island of Usedom in Heringsdorf.
And you’re part of it! Congratulations!

To help us ensure the right stage and technical setup for your show, make your travel as smooth as possible, and allow us to start the festival well-prepared, we kindly ask you to read all the information about the festival and then fill out the following questionnaire.

For the printing of our program booklet and announcements on social media as well as on our website, we need 2 to 4 portrait photos or photos from your show.
The photos should be in high resolution (300dpi) and uploaded in either ".jpeg" or ".tif" format.

ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE AND ACCOMMODATION

Please let us know in advance which day you will be arriving and from where. (Train passengers can be picked up from the "Seebad Heringsdorf" train station by prior arrangement.)

Any additional costs incurred for pets must be borne by the guest. Accommodation for pets cannot be guaranteed without prior arrangement.

Information / FAQ

Important information about participating in the festival and competition:

  • There are 7 playing areas on the promenade near the pier in the seaside resort of Heringsdorf. (Find it HERE)

  • The performance is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes.

  • The evaluation criteria will be announced by the jury on-site.

  • Upon registration on site, you will receive a detailed schedule of the festival, a free parking ticket, information about your accommodation, and the location and opening hours of the festival office.

  • Equipment and props can be stored in a storage room for the entire duration of the festival.

  • The evaluation criteria will be announced on Friday at 12:00 noon during the welcome address by the chairman of the jury.

  • There will be an opening show on Friday at 5:00 PM. An excerpt from your own program can be shown during this show, subject to prior arrangement.

  • The awards ceremony will take place on Monday at 5:30 pm.

  • Travel expenses will be reimbursed, depending on the distance between your starting point and the festival location. For travel by car within Germany, a mileage allowance of 30 cents per kilometer will be paid. The maximum reimbursement is €600.00. Please submit your train or plane tickets for reimbursement.

  • Accommodation and catering (from Friday, 1 p.m. to Monday, 5 p.m.) are provided free of charge by the organizer for all registered artists. Please note: No meals are provided upon arrival or breakfast.

  • The nearest airport to the festival location is Berlin. From there you can travel to Heringsdorf by train or bus.

  • During the festival, artists receive up to six subsidized performances, which take place at designated venues. Voluntary performances are possible outside the festival grounds, e.g., on the promenade, but without additional funding.

       - Solo artist: €900.00

       - Duo: €1,500.00

       - Group of artists (3 or more people): €2,000.00
